Leadership Club
Members of the Jefferson Leadership Club meet once a week during lunch to plan activities or perform community service, such as helping fill food bags for needy families. Student leaders plan monthly award events for the school, create games and activities and help build camaraderie among the student body through spirit days and other events. Group members develop meaningful skills in public speaking, teamwork, event planning and professionalism.
Colorful Mindz Creations
Colorful Mindz Creations is a store operated by teachers and students in the Adult Continuing Education Services (ACES) classroom at Jefferson Learning Center. Through this workplace learning program, students 18 to 21 years old with unique educational needs create various products which are available to the community to buy. This includes mugs, T-shirts, bags, 3D-printed fidgets and much more.
